A busy weekend, a busy week, it's a generally busy life. Looking forward to a Labor Day weekend in Savannah - exploring new cities is such a pleasure.

Work rolls on. Details and odd jobs roll in and are dealt with. The mess in the living room remains the same. Such is the life of a young naval architect, I guess. The grind is seeming very un-grindy, and Norah Jones is brightening my life all the time.

The saga of the desk drags onward, but now I've been given $30 for my troubles, apparently all is better now. Errands and details have filled my lunch hours of late, so no blog since my weekend full of shopping but not buying and reading but not being forced too. This afternoon a business trip to nearby Chris Craft. I feel like a boating professional now.

With crossed fingers I am hoping that today is the day in which a desk arrives at #511 so that I can begin to have some structure in my home life. With a desk and a chair my weekend will be spent creating a webpage for the '02 Class of Webb, and I'll be jamming to my tunes all along. That is what the real world is, John Mayer. It does exist, and NO! you do not want to run through the halls of your high school.

Madly shopping for furniture is filling my lunch hours, and madly waiting for furniture is filling my hours at home. What a tangled web this is.

On the job again in Sarasota at MPYD. Hoowah! A new apartment where the AC is cold and the furniture has not yet arrived is my home, but things are coming together.
