A long day at the malls in Hicksville, shopping around and buying a George Foreman grill for our room. Met all sorts of wacky Long Islanders on the way - a man who got kicked out of the IHOP but refused to leave even when his two young children started pleading with him to go somewhere where they would get food. Incredible. Then, watched a tricked out Civic rattle down the Best Buy parking lot and set off a couple of car alarms with its thumping bass. Mayhem on the isle, I tell you what. It was good to get back to Webb and not have to deal with that sort of thing anymore.
